“We create a personalized program for your outdoor living space.”

Our Soil Testing

A soil test determines baseline nutritional levels. An outdoor living space is similar to a human being—it needs proper nutrition in order to be healthy.

A soil test is like when a doctor orders bloodwork. Much like bloodwork reveals whether the levels of different substances within your body fall within a normal range, soil testing reports if your outdoor space’s pH, organic matter, Cation-Exchange Capacity (CEC), and soil structure are within healthy ranges. To complete the test, our experts will collect samples from different areas of your soil, send them to the lab, and use the results to design and recommend customized treatments that enable soil nutrition to reach ideal ranges, unleashing your outdoor living space’s complex ecosystem. Once soil issues are corrected, your outdoor living space can be further improved through numerous other professional services.

Our Balanced Fertility Program

Just as humans need to eat for proper nourishment, lawns also need balanced-nutrient applications for their plant health.

Our customized, balanced-fertility programs supply nutrients to your lawn at the appropriate times throughout growing season. They also insure that those nutrients stay where they work best, which is in your soil, slowly feeding your roots. Stronger root systems yield lawns with a deeper and longer-lasting color.

Our Pre-Emergent Crabgrass Control

Crabgrass is a highly-aggressive, summer-annual weed that robs your lawn of nutrients and water.

It uses the stolen nutrients and water to rapidly reproduce and quickly overtake your lawn. The lawn in your outdoor living space can be protected by creating an invisible barrier that prohibits the germination of crabgrass seeds though the application of a pre-emergent product.

Our Integrated Weed Management

Like crabgrass, weeds, such as clover, dandelions, ground ivy, spurge, wild violet, and more, compete for the same nutrients and water in the soil profile.

Our integrated weed management programs (IWM) rid your lawn of unsightly weeds by applying product to the weeds, and only the weeds, at the appropriate time of the season.

Our Preventative Grub Control

Grubs, a by-product of eggs laid by June bugs, Japanese beetles, Northern masked chafer, and oriental beetle, to name a few, are some of the most destructive lawn pests during the summer months.

Their destruction can be stopped with a single application of a preventative grub control product. If the grubs are not prevented and an outbreak occurs, a curative control product must be applied to eradicate the infestation. Once the infestation has been removed, your lawn will need to be re-seeded. Curative control products and re-seeding procedures are costlier than preventative control products.

Our Integrated Pest Management

Pests are any insect that deteriorate the health of your lawn, trees, and shrubs.

Annual bluegrass weevils, aphids, bagworms, sod webworms, and spider mites are a few examples of pests that could plague your property without our Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPM is one of the best ways to reduce pesticide use in the industry. IPM consists of scouting and monitoring areas for pests and recording populations. The application of a control product is only necessary when the pest population reaches an economic threshold for loss. The rest of the time, it is best to let mother nature and natural predators combat pests.

Our Organic Mosquito Deterrent

In the age of the West Nile and Zika viruses among others, mosquito deterrent is of increasing importance.

Luckily, naturally-occurring bacterium provide a solution to control the mosquitoes that are invading your property. Inch’s Natural Fertilization and Pest Control can provide this organic solution to combat this pest.

Our Core Turf Aeration and Soil Care

When natural and unnatural forces compact your soil, a yearly, fall aeration relieves the compaction.

Aeration permits better moisture penetration and better nutrient absorption in soil. It further allows a gaseous exchange in the root zone, which promotes a denser root system. Aeration even reduces thatch. An aerated lawn is better-equipped to handle the stresses of the coming season.

Our Seeding and Lawn Restoration

Certain varieties of grass are more susceptible to insects, disease, and drought.

Should your grass fall victim to insects, disease, or drought, Inch’s Natural Fertilization and Pest Control will re-seed portions or all of your lawn, selecting only the varieties of seed that are the deepest-rooting, the darkest green in color, and the best-equipped to resist environmental threats.

Our Specialty Lawn Issues Management

Some lawn issues, including but not limited to unwanted grasses and damaging diseases, are not controlled through a standard lawn care program.

Instead, they require specialty products to treat. We are experienced at diagnosing and applying the correct control product to restore your outdoor living space.
